At the beginning of the new year it is always good to look back on the successes of the past year and to look forward to what 2019 will bring. No better way to do this than with our partners at the first Belgian edition of the VMware Partner Award Event.

We could only achieve our success thanks to the collaboration with our partners. Partners who work hard day in and day out to help their customers with the appropriate VMware solution. To express our gratitude for this, we organized the first Belgian edition of the VMware Partner Award Event yesterday evening. These are the winners:

Most Promising VMware Partner of the Year XYLOS

Xylos is the first partner in Belgium who achieved the datacenter master services competency. After years of successfully selling and implementing vSphere, it realized that VMware has much more to offer to their partners and customers. In the Hybrid Cloud era Workspace One and VMware NSX are now considered strategic additions to the Xylos Value Proposition.

VMware Innovator of the Year Dimension Data Luxembourg

Dimension Data approaches projects from a transformational point of view. A good example is the PKS case Dimension Data Luxembourg is developing. The underlying products (HCI, NSX) are there to support the project, but are not considered as the project by themselves. The transformational approach encompasses Digital Infrastructure, Digital Workspace and security. And in all of these strategic areas, VMware is playing a crucial role.

Best VMware Partner Success Story IBM

As IBM signed a long-term partnership with NRB, we successfully worked with them on the implementation of NRB’s new Enterprise Cloud Services platform (NECS 4.0). By acting as one team towards NRB, both on the business and the operational side, this project has been delivered successfully. The fully automated platform will offer great services towards NRBs customers and promises a lot for the future.

Most Committed VMware Partner of the Year ITQ Belgium

They are still somewhat considered the new kid on the block, yet ITQ is already instrumental in helping VMware in positioning our advanced solutions and implements these like a pro. ITQ Benelux has no less than 4 master services competencies, the first and only partner achieving this worldwide. And it is working on the fifth one. ITQ is the only partner in Belgium with a focus exclusively on VMware.

VMware Partner Personality of the Year Jari Van Mulders (Arrow)

Jari lives and breathes VMware! Not only people consider him as a very good counterpart at distribution. He is also a very pleasant person to work with. He is widely considered an authority when it comes to VMware outside of VMware. With an in-depth knowledge and expertise in everything that relates to VMware. He also shows great dedication and passion in driving VMware projects in conjunction with his partners.

Most Innovative VMware Cloud Partner of the Year NRB

18 months ago, NRB was looking for a strong partner with whom to build a close partnership in order to co-innovate and accelerate its Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud capabilities. With the platform up and running, NRB has a state-of-the-art future proof offering of which they can be very proud of. They continue their great work and continue to further develop their services to stay ahead of the market.

Best VMware Cloud Partner of the Year  Sentia

Sentia’s tagline « Lead the way », confirms their highest priority in driving innovation and customer focus. “We support you every day, so you can lead the way” is a testament to their focus on customer intimacy. This is equally exemplified in their partnership and relationship with VMware. Sentia focuses on innovative, high-quality managed services, and delivers today on what for a lot of companies is a distant roadmap: hybrid cloud services, through partnerships with VMware, Azure and Amazon Web Services. VMware remains a proud partner of Sentia.
