vForum 2020 Belgium is approaching fast. Next week, on March 12th we will be your host at this can’t-miss event for IT professionals will be returning – after many years. Place to be this year is De Kruitfabriek in Vilvoorde (near Brussels). So, here is what you can expect.

Why do you need to attend vForum 2020?

Simple, because vForum 2020 offers you the opportunity to discover the latest trends in IT & technology. Today IT is increasingly critical to the success of the business. At the same time, technology is moving fast.

One of the major challenges is to manage all the changes and the infrastructure (on premise and in the different cloud). We feel the need to guide you on your transformation journey. To keep a clear overview and to help you with your daily challenges. That’s why we organize vForum!

So, what can you expect from vForum 2020?

To take advantage of all the technologies mentioned, you need a software-defined digital foundation that allows you to adapt and respond fast. During VMware vForum 2020 Brussels we will have 3 tracks and more than 15 sessions. Each track focuses on one specific item:

  • Multi-cloud and Virtual Cloud Network
  • Mobility and Intrinsic Security
  • App Modernization

In short sessions (30 minutes) our specialists and the experts from our sponsoring partners will give you better insights in the technology and how to find solutions for your technical challenges.

Security and privacy: meet our Special Guest

We are very honored to have Matthias Dobbelaere-Welvaert on stage as well.

Was the bestseller ‘1984’ a manual? Is our privacy lost forever or partly recovered?

Matthias is the director of the Ministry of Privacy, a non-profit organization that combats privacy invasions by governments and institutions. He teaches ‘Copyrights and Mediarights’ at the Erasmus Hogeschool Brussel. Formerly he founded theJurists (deJuristen) in 2010 and was acting as managing partner of theJurists Europe (deJuristen) till May 2019. In need of a change, he sold his shares to the existing investor. He co-founded and kick-started Ethel, a legal tech & design agency. In November 2019, he decided to fully focus on the Ministry of Privacy.

This privacy-expert will discuss how we can make privacy relevant again.

AGENDA: Register today

VMware vForum 2020 will offer you a full day of innovation to accelerate your journey to a software-defined business.

The opening keynote starts at 09:45 AM and we will close the day with a chat during our networking drink. But just before Bert Kruismans, probably the only stand-up comedian who’s popular in Flanders and in Wallonia, will perform live and will make you laugh.

You can find the complete agenda and detailed info about the event here.

In addition to all the inspiring program, you’ll have the opportunity at VMware vForum to connect with industry peers.

One more thing: seats are limited.

See you in Vilvoorde on Thursday, March 12th.

PS: Now that we have your attention, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all our sponsors to make this possible as a team: our Platinum Sponsors Dell Technologies, IBM and Intel; our Gold Sponsors Agisko, Commvault, ITQ, Realdolmen, Veeam and Veritas; and finally our Silver Sponsors Cloudar, ePact, mobco, NTT and Ordina.
