A couple of days ago we announced the fourth quarter results and fiscal year 2020 financial results. The revenue for fiscal year 2020 was $10.81 billion, an increase of 12% from fiscal 2019! That’s great news, but this result wasn’t possible without the collaboration of our partners. And no better way to look back on their successes than with our annual VMware Partner Award event.

Partner Award Event

Our partners work hard to tackle their customers’ challenges with the appropriate VMware solution. To express our gratitude for this, we organized for the second year in a row the Belgian edition of the VMware Partner Award Event. Because we could only achieve our success thanks to the collaboration with our partners. Our partners are an essential link in VMware’s successful growth strategy.

For this year’s edition, place to be for the award ceremony was Hof ter Loonst in Kampenhout. The event was attended by around a hundred representatives of the various VMware partners. A total of seven partners were rewarded with a specific VMware Partner Award. « Those partners have distinguished themselves in the past year in a special way. The results in our region have proven this for years. With a lot of innovative projects », says Kenneth del Rio van Heese, Senior Manager Business Partners & Alliances Benelux at VMware.

All partners are winners

Earlier this year VMware announced the seven categories, with four nominees for each category. VMware’s Benelux channel team then selected a winner in each category based on the impact on the end customer, the degree of innovation, the portfolio, and the team’s commitment.

This award ceremony is above all a signal for a successful joint roadmap in 2020.

So, here’s the moment you all have been waiting for. Here are the winners of the VMware Belux Partner Awards:

  • Most Promising VMware Partner of the Year – Agisko
  • VMware Innovator of the Year – ITQ
  • Best VMware Partner Success Story NTT Luxembourg
  • Most Committed VMware Partner of the Year – ITQ and Agisko
  • VMware Partner Personality of the Year – Sven Vanasch (Realdolmen)
  • Most Innovative VMware Cloud Partner of the Year – EBRC
  • Best VMware Cloud Partner of the Year – NRB

« I’d like to start by congratulating all the winners. I would also like to thank all our partners in Belgium and Luxembourg and look forward to our further cooperation. After all, this award ceremony is not only a retrospective of the past year, but above all a starting signal for a successful joint roadmap in 2020. A year in which we again want to make a difference together with our partners », concludes del Rio van Heese.
